Lovely Summer evening Estes Park sunset Elopement
Rocky Mountain National Park 3M curve
Summer reached out to me a few months before their intimate family Elopement, and explained to me that she wanted it simple and just wanted a beautiful view and small elopement in Rocky Mountain national Park. Sounded perfect to me!! She and Jeff have a beautiful daughter as well, and when we met up again for their RiNo Art district Engagement session, it was plain to see that this little family was smitten with each other- and I was so excited to be the one to capture their day (before they moved off to Phoenix!)!
Now, some weddings have lots of photos of getting ready…this was a bit different, as Summer literally got her gorgeous self stunningly ready in a National Park bathroom lol! Mae sit look GOOD too! After that, she wanted to do a quick first look with her Dad, so we did that near the Rocky Mountain National Park visitor center…and then headed out to 3M curve in the Park for their ceremony!
As it does, the Colorado sun on that Fall day was pretty fierce, and brightly shined down on their beautiful sunset Ceremony, and then drifted behind the horizon and created a gorgeous Pink glow to the skies just as we went out to grab some photos in the Park! We were also lucky enough to get a big full moon in the twilight sky! Just as it was almost too dark to shoot, these two steamed up Sheep Lakes area (along with lots of exiting Cars out of the Park!) with some gorgeous intimate portraits in from of the last light in the sky!
It ended up being a perfect evening in the Park, and a gorgeous celebration to witness! Thank you two for having me on your adventure!
