Ok, so let’s forget the fact that I am like a year behind on blogging weddings….and I’m just going to have to move forward in life lol. Other than that ….I DID want to take the time to blog this amazing day from this past Summer….especially because I found out that they were featured this morning on a fabulous Wedding blog/Magazine Site, Couture Colorado! I urge you to go visit their post at this link:
Couture Colorado Wedding Feature!
So, you COULD just view their blog….but I decided I wanted to do one of my own— with some of MY favorite images! You’ll see a few repeats…but I don’t care bc this is my blog…and I can do that ;)
If you are planning a Destination Wedding in Colorado, I would HIGHLY recommend Estes Park!! It is such a beautiful little Gem of Colorado…and Rocky Mountain National Park is literally at your doorstep. Now, if you do decide on Estes Park, I would highly recommend (again…) Black Canyon Inn and Twin Owls Steakhouse as a Ceremony and Reception Venue!! I shoot there often and they have such an amazing staff and team, and it’s such a beautiful and unique location, with stunning views!!
I also want to shout out to Lauren and Molly at the wonderful Hourglass Productions team! They are such organized and FUN ladies to work with— and produce such beautiful weddings! They are able to go with the flow of things and think on their feet, while still keeping their cool….which is extremely important for a planner! ;) . Check them out!
Anywho…..Hopefully you will see from the photos, but we had a wonderful adventure! We did a beautiful First Look inside Rocky Mountain National Park, and ventured around the park a bit, and then headed up to the top of Trail Ridge Road for some high peak photos!! It was extremely bright in the middle of the afternoon up there….but we made some magic and had a great time on the of the world!! (while of course being responsible with the Tundra as well lol) . After our adventures we headed back to Black Canyon for their heartwarming ceremony (I have literally NEVER seen a wedding where I’m pretty sure every single person was crying…..lol), and we all of course enjoyed and celebrated EQUALITY for Gay marriage, and that Love is Love!!! We of course then ate, partied and danced into the night….it was a day to remember for sure!
Paul and Logan are now living happily in the Big Apple….and I fully intend on visiting and couch surfing at some point. They are just the bees knees…and I am so incredibly happy for them!!!
Enjoy this Colorado Mountain Wedding- as it was one of a kind!!
