These two...it's always the people that say they "suck" in front of the camera....that end up just totally KILLING IT. Also...can we all just agree that every girl should have someone look at them the way that Taylor looks at Nicole!?? Really? (see pics...you'll see what I mean...) They were absolutely adorable together- and their ease and silliness together just couldn't be hidden!
For a few weeks, Nicole had really gone back and forth between doing our shoot in Summit county, or going for it in Rocky Mountain National Park! There are pluses to both- but honestly, if you really want those killer dramatic peaks and more options of places to pull of and photograph in the winter....you can't beat RMNP. We started our session off with a beer at the Estes Park Brewery (of course!) to loosen up and hangout a bit! Then we headed off towards the park! The wind did kick up pretty good during our session...but luckily it just played along the tops of the peaks- and the sun still stayed out- so we could see the mountains! even with the wind...we were blessed with a gorgeous sunny winter day- the best kind!!
We made a little round-the-park adventure...hitting Moraine Park area, then Sprague Lake, and then back over to Sheep Lakes on the way out! Of course, Trail Ridge Road area is closed until almost June- but the Park itself offers plenty of stunning options!! To top it off we had some pretty sunset colors to end the evening- and of course....a heard of Elk. ;)
I can't wait for their Grand Hyatt wedding later this year- I love mixing up the locations and style between Engagement and Weddings!
Enjoy the Wintery pics- it's all summer and greenery, and fall colors from here on out folks! ;)
