SUNNY ENGAGEMENT PHOTO TREKKING THROUGH RED ROCKS PARK AND ALDERFER-THREE SISTERS PARK IN EVERGREEN!
Had a blast with this fun-loving couple as we laughed our way around the Colorado Mountains on a sunny Winter day!
I am seriously so excited for this wedding. From the second they pulled up to meet me at the Red Rocks parking lot....Allison was happily waving through the window with a huge smile on her face-- and I knew right then it was going to be an awesome day. Since they live out of state- I hadn't had the chance to meet them before our Engagement session- but I immediately felt like we were friends-- I absolutely love that!! As you can see, the smiles didn't stop all day- and I love how their images truly reflect how they laugh together so much!
A Colorado Winter Engagement session can be tricky....you can have sunny and 60, or blizzarding and freezing....and one can happen right after the other within a day. Luckily, we got some gorgeous sun and warmth for our session! However, bright sun and snow can make it a bit harsh on the eyes! ;) I think it's worth it though....don't you?
We started our session at Red Rocks Amphitheater. I love how it looks in the Winter- the rocks seem to stand out among the snow so prettily! Then we headed up to Alderfer/Three Sisters Park in Evergreen-- one of my favorite spots for photos! Complete with mountains, Pine trees, rock outcroppings, and a huge gorgeous old rustic Barn that is just perfect for grandiose photos! By the time the sun was setting we were all pretty damn cold....so we called it a day-- poor Kevin's feet were frozen-- I made him trek through all the snow with his nice shoes on! Sorry Kevin!!
As I mentioned, I can't wait to hangout with these two again and spend their Wedding day with them in Denver! They are tying the night at the Grand Hyatt Denver, and I am sure that it will be a day for the books!!
