These two......just too fricken' adorable together. Seriously, two of the nicest people I have met. I actually knew Carrie from my previous life of working with Hyatt Hotels...and years later she reached out about her wedding...and I am so glad!! I remember talking to her on the phone about meeting Scott and how they both just "knew"...and the rest is history folks. Truly, they are a very inspiring couple together--- they are very sweet, funny, and genuine towards each other...it's so nice to see! Then, you should see the way Scott looks at Carrie-- the way every girl should be looked at by her hubby!
On to the Wedding! Carrie explained to me that the most important thing to her was her family being there-- and just having a fun party at Govnr's Park Tavern where they met, as well as spent lots of time with friends. I was totally stoked--- I LOVE when personal and untraditional elements and locations are used to create a wedding celebration! So, they married at the gorgeous Holy Ghost Cathedral Downtown, and then we all headed over to the Tavern for an awesome party!! (After the Bride and Groom and I hit a major detour around City Park trying to do a few Skyline photos.....it was FREE ZOO DAY!!?? Ugh.....madness. Needless to say we weren't able to get the Skyline view...but I think we got some killer romantic shots of them regardless!)
Scott and Carrie-- I wish you guys all the very best and was honored to be at your wedding!! Cheers!!!
(PS-- Scott has some killer Michael Jackson moves....true story)
