I don't know quite what to say about these two except for, I heart them. Truly. Such incredibly fun and sweet people! Gotta hand it to the powers of Facebook too....Sarah and I actually knew each other way back when in High school....and because she had seen my business on Facebook we re-connected! So glad for it!!
So, back in May, I had the pleasure of photographing this awesome day! These two worked their butts off prepping their beautiful Windsor backyard and transforming it into a perfect evening for their wedding! Sarah had such a great vision with table decor-- all vintage bird cages, old camera's (of course I loved that!), and just littered with photos of the two of them with their girls! the yard was immaculate and as the sun set, all the pretty twinkly lights and japanese lanterns looked perfect.
So, not only was it a beautiful and tearful ceremony (complete with each of them giving their girls necklaces), but they managed to up their coolness factor by coming into their reception doing a choreographed dance (all the kids and bridal party too!) to Uptown Funk. Really?? Amazeballs.
Mother nature showed up that day as well and killed it with a spectacular sunset and late summer evening glow.....it was superb. We drove just down the road to a little country spot I had seen earlier that day- and grabbed some shots with the sunset and with their Jeep (they love off-roading!).
It was truly just a FUN and memorable day- and I absolutely LOVE seeing two families come together as one. I have had a handful of weddings like this lately- and it is so cool seeing people make commitments not only to their partner- but embracing their children as their own as well. It's just awesome.
Lastly a big thank you to my wonderful partner in crime that day, Erin Cady! A good handful of images on this post are hers too! Love shooting with you girl- thanks!
You guys are just the best!! Cheers again!! Hope to see you soon!
