~ Engagement photo fun in Mountain meadow full of Wildflowers!~

I'm so happy to have met these peeps. Seriously. I am actually writing this very late because I am super duper behind on blogging since the website relaunch and everything.....doh! So-- their wedding has actually already happened!! It was a gorgeous day at Granby Ranch! I will post a link to that blog post when it is is done! ;)

On to this ridiculously pretty session! We were like 2 minutes away from canceling....it was an early summer Colorado day-- which meant sun and then RAIN. We had a more than usually rainy start to the summer this year too. However, I really pushed because I knew Colorado-- and even if it sprinkled a bit, we could jump in and out of the Car-- and the dark sky with brilliant greens and flowers........um.......probably my favorite. I absolutely adore the sun for photos-- but there is something about a stormy sky that does it for me.

So, we hoped in the car and headed up to one of my favorite spots up Squaw Pass, just outside Evergreen! As we pulled up, I was so happily surprised to see the meadow just full of wildflowers!! I did a happy dance for sure.

We played around and just had some fun-- and then they brought out their little pup for some photos! She was so happy to run around, she was not really in the mood for photos! ;) We managed to get a few though!!

We ended our sesh with a little trip up to lookout mountain for a view! Just as the Rain moved in-- I love how moody and intimate these photos came out! Nothing like a stormy colorado mountain day, and a pair of adorable people in love! sweet.

(PS-- isn't Caren just absolutely stunning!?? Holy moly.)
