Perfect Fall adventure elopement in colorado
Rocky Mountain National Park provides pristine scenery for private wedding day
Ok so this one is coming outta vault a bit! Well, let’s be honest, most my upcoming posts will be because I completely suck at keeping up with blogging. But!! I have so many beautiful things to share - it’s time I do some catching up! I also like Fall….and it’s not fall right now…..so, here we are.
I absolutely loved this Fall day in Rocky Mountain National Park (and Estes Park!)! These two were just so dang adorable and such a great energy together— just up for whatever— I loved it! We planned a ceremony in a beautiful spot in Estes Park that I love….and nobody was around— bonus!! Then, we headed out to RMNP for some adventuring and beautiful sights! This was at the very beginning of October…and I’m pretty sure we caught the last day that Trail Ridge Road was open (see last photos!)….at the end of our day— a big snowstorm started to descend upon us when we were way up high on the road! We tried to get a few shots with some snow— and then the Park Rangers were actually turning people around and we headed down the mountain (it was getting pretty slick and snowy and night time anyway— so I was ok with that!)
But really, can we just talk about how cool these two look!?? Zara’s hair is still some of my favorite I’ve ever photographed…and then her boots and tattoos…..agh…..so gorg! Everett was looking pretty fly too!! that hat? Great style from these two. The best was their laughter and smiles though…..per usual, that is the best accessory to any photograph and style! ;)
An Elopement in rocky Mountain National Park is always a good idea…..but Fall?? You realy can’t go wrong. I just advise away from doing it on a weekend! The Elk are also very active and more aggressive at this time….so use your Noggin and safety first! You may get Sun….you may get fog….you may get rain….you may get snow…..or ALL at once! AAs you caan see here (and otehr Fall Elopement sin COlorado!)….you can very often get a mix mof many. seasons in one day. The key to planning any Colorado Mountian elopement is to be flexible and understand that weather can change— but if you. are up for any of it— I promise you will get amazing photos!
