Ok. Where to start with these two. I am so fortunate to meet so many wonderful people in my profession...and even more so when they start to feel like family! I have so enjoyed getting to know these two, and being a part of their adventure! You can check out their Summit County and Sapphire Point Engagement shoot from last winter as well-- right here!
Anywho- fast forward to this Fall- and to their gorgeous Spruce Mountain Ranch wedding! Now, in general, there's not much you need to do for this place-- nestled in the southern hills of Larskpur, and gorgeous grounds....it's pretty much beautiful regardless. WELL-- we happened to get a sunny/stormy day (typical Colorado....)....now, some people don't like to shoot in the dark skies....I LOVE IT. I am stoked that we got some sun that day too-- as the sun hitting the dark skies and all the colorful leaves just made it ridiculously gorgeous. Cool right? How 'bout adding a TRIPLE RAINBOW!??? (The third was faint...but it was there!) YES. I was literally complaining to my hubby not long before this wedding, that I never get any sort of rainbows, or cool Mother-nature things at my shoots.....well....Mother nature pretty much told me to stop my bitching that day (see how fast the sky changed form light to dark too?? crazy!). It was also quite magical, as it had very personal meaning for Ryan and his family....someone was watching from above! ;)
So, awesome peeps? Check. Awesome location and cool mother-natur-y stuff? Check. Now....awesome dance party?? CHECK. The whole reception was just full of laughter and fun-- and man these peeps could dance!! Kathryn alone could pretty much kill it on any dance floor. (check out her "alternate" shoes for the night!)!
All in all, it was a once in a lifetime wedding to be a part of- and I'm so appreciative to have been there! It was so nice seeing some of my old Hyatt friends and co-workers too (and clients now!)-- love!!
Shout out to my partner in crime- Erin Cady, for her sharp-shooting skills and holding of all my crap as I was freaking out over the Rainbow ;)
