~ Colorado Documentary Family Photography Session ~
In-home, Family Story-telling photography for the nostalgic at heart!
I am so in love with these sessions. I mean really...it's obvious I love any kind of documenting photo in general...(so take photos!!)...but these have a special place in my heart!
I was honored that another photographer friend of mine invited me into their home to do one of these Family Story sessions recently. They had recently remodeled an old Schoolhouse that they owned into a ridiculously gorgeous and modern style home! I mean, this home needs to be in a magazine! They wanted to document their life with their young kiddos (they change so fast!) in their new home- and I was so excited to be the one to do it for them!
We spent the afternoon playing legos, jumping on the trampoline, playing outside, cooking dinner, coloring, and then documenting the bedtime routine! It;s funny, as a mom, I know that bedtime is sometimes one of the more stressful parts of the day...but it is special!! I am finding that so many times when I ask people what they want to document during their day- bedtime almost always come up!
I have not finished their session yet- but I like to do blog posts of these sessions as a Preview, otherwise, I would probably break the internet with how many photos I would want to put up from the whole session!!
