I just loved photographing this wedding. I love being around people that just totally enjoy their day- and don't take things too seriously...and are totally in love! (I mean.....check out the photo of Ashley holding my flash for me lol...how many brides are that relaxed and just chill!?? Love it!) Grant and Ashley came all the way out from Florida to have their Colorado Winter Wedding in Breckenridge! They had a gorgeous very intimate Ceremony and reception with just close friends and family- it was such a unique and happy day!
The day was a typical Colorado winter day (which means the weather was totally drunk.....)...we had Sun, clouds, snow, wind, etc. I'm super happy though that during the Ceremony at Sapphire Point (looks out over Lake Dillon), the Sun hung out a bit, and we didn't have to deal with Snow! You can see in some of the Couples Portraits though, the snow showed up right at the end...and I actually LOVE the way those last portraits turned out! (Also....as a Mother of two Boys....I couldn't help melting over the photos below of Ashly and her two boys.....so stinking cute....)
After the Ceremony and photos, we headed into Downtown Breckenridge for their reception Dinner at Ember Restaurant, an adorable house converted into restaurant right off Main Street. Their friend/officiant/planner decorated the restaurants Wine Attic Room for them- and it was so absolutely magical! They had this amazing colorful ceiling to start with- and then he added some perfect Snowy/Winter decor to match- it was adorable. Ashley really wanted to get some fun/sexy shots too...I think we accomplished our task ;) We had a few hoots and hollars from people walking by- which is always fun lol!
Congrats Ashley and Grant, thank you so much for having me a part of your Colorado Mountain Wedding adventure!!
xoxo
