~Sunny Colorado Intimate Summer Wedding~
Meaghan and Matt say "I do" in intimate and laid-back outdoor backyard style wedding in Colorado
Sometimes you just "click" with people. I actually had the pleasure of chatting with Meaghan's Step-mother in the beginning-- who was helping her find a photographer- so glad she found me! What fun people they are!! I met with Meaghan and Matt soon after-- and met Meaghan's sons as well- and was super excited to be part of their day. Just totally my kind of personality-- fun, funky, laid back but organized....and just extremely kind peeps.
I didn't get to do any engagement photos of them-- so the next time I saw them was on the wedding day! These two just have such a positive and palpable love for each other-- you can just feel it-- and they are so fun together-- but sweet too. I also LOVE LOVE LOVE seeing families come together-- Matt stepping in as Step parents to Meaghan's boys-- I grew up with a "blended" family, and am so thankful for my step-father...it's a beautiful thing!!
The ceremony was quick but powerful, and then we grabbed some quick shots of the two of them-- and then they were ready to just enjoy their guests and evening!
Morningside Manor is a very cute and quaint little backyard style venue tucked away in the middle of the city (Arvada)! You'd never know it was there! Lots of pretty foliage and trees, and a perfect size for a small wedding!
